Cytochrome P450 Family 7 Subfamily B Member 1(CYP7B1) is reported as a kind of enzymes involves in the synthesis of bile acids. However, we discovered that CYP7B1 could regulate the activation of bone marrow Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs), which is a subset of pluripotent stem cells related to bone metabolism. This project is aim to investigate the function and potential mechanisms of CYP7B1 in regulating MSCs activation. MSCs were transfected with specific siRNA to knockdown the expression of CYP7B1 or transfected with negative control siRNA. Three biological replicates were set to RNA-sequencing after checking for knocking down efficiency of siRNA.
