State Election 2014: Eastern Metropolitan Region results summary

A recheck is a normal procedure undertaken by an election manager. After the first count of preferences all ballot papers are re-examined and counted again. Scrutineers are entitled to be present and should be aware of any corrected figures. This term should not be confused with the term recount. For an Upper House Region rechecks are conducted on all first preferences cast for each group above the line and the total first preferences cast for candidates within the group below the line. The data is presented by District and further broken down by Voting Centre or vote type

选票复核（recheck）是选举管理人员开展的常规程序。在完成首轮偏好计票后，需对所有选票进行重新核查并再次计数。监票员有权到场监督，且应知晓所有修正后的计票数据。本术语不应与"重新计票（recount）"相混淆。在上议院选区中，复核工作针对两类对象开展：一是各线上分组（above the line）所获得的全部首轮偏好票，二是线下分组（below the line）内各候选人所获得的首轮偏好票总和。该数据集按选举分区（District）进行呈现，并可进一步按投票站（Voting Centre）或投票类型进行细分。
