Growth Hormon and Catabolism, 1990

The aim of the project was to examine whether growth hormones lowers the catabolic response on operations on patients who received treatment with total parenteral nutrition. 20 patients received treatment with growth hormones or placebo every morning for the first five post-operative days. The data material consists of results of various tests that have been carried out on these patients.

本项目旨在探究生长激素（growth hormone）是否可降低接受全肠外营养（total parenteral nutrition）治疗的手术患者的分解代谢反应（catabolic response）。20名患者在术后首五日每日晨起接受生长激素或安慰剂（placebo）治疗。本数据集包含对上述患者开展的各项检测结果。
