Chemical and mineral compositions of volcanic rock, hydrothermal ferromanganese oxide and sandstone from the Daini-Nishi-Yamato Seamount in the Sea of Japan

Chemical and mineral compositions of volcanic rock, hydrothermal ferromanganese oxide and sandstone from the Daini-Nishi-Yamato Seamount in the Sea of Japan. The samples were obtained by a dredge operation during the KT85-15 cruise. The chemical compostion of the samples were measured by using ICP-MS and XRF. The mineral compostion of the samples were analyzed by using powder XRD.

本数据集涵盖日本海第二西大和海山（Daini-Nishi-Yamato Seamount）产出的火山岩、热液铁锰氧化物与砂岩的化学组成及矿物组成。样品通过KT85-15航次的拖网采样作业获取。样品的化学组成采用电感耦合等离子体质谱法（ICP-MS）与X射线荧光光谱法（XRF）进行测定，矿物组成则通过粉末X射线衍射（XRD）完成分析。
