CTD data from research vessel New Horizon in the NE Pacific from 2014-04-24 to 2014-05-01 (NCEI Accession 0157699)

Two consecutive expeditions by research vessel New Horizon in April/May 2014 (NH1408 and NH1409) had the objective to recover and re-deploy a number of moored platforms off southern California. To calibrate and validate the mooring data, 9 CTD casts were done, data of which are reported here. The data have been quality-controlled and adjusted using water samples. The water sample data will be available separately at NCEI via accession number 0146024. The raw CTD data will be available separately at NCEI via the R2R program.

2014年4至5月，研究船“新视野号”（New Horizon）先后执行两次连续考察航次（NH1408与NH1409），任务旨在回收并重新布设加利福尼亚南部近海的多套锚定观测平台。为校准并验证锚系观测数据，本次共开展9次CTD（Conductivity, Temperature, Depth，温盐深）剖面测量，相关数据已收录于本数据集。本数据集已通过水样分析完成质量控制与数据校准。水样数据将通过美国国家环境信息中心（National Centers for Environmental Information, NCEI）以存取编号0146024单独发布。原始CTD数据将通过NCEI的R2R计划单独发布。
