资源简介:
This study investigated the diversity of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in faeces. With the large-scale development of modern aquaculture, antibiotics are widely used as growth promoters and disease prevention means. However, this large-scale use also brings a serious problem - the overuse and residue of antibiotics in the farming process, which not only causes environmental pollution, but more importantly, it spawns and accumulates a large number of antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs) in the farmed feces. These ARGs can not only be transmitted between the same or different species of bacteria, making bacteria that are sensitive to antibiotics become resistant, thus exacerbating the difficulty of treating bacterial diseases. More notably, these ARGs have the potential to be passed to humans through the food chain, posing a potential threat to human health. Therefore, the aim of this study is to conduct a comprehensive and systematic study on ARGs in cultured feces through advanced molecular biology techniques and bioinformatics analysis. We will conduct an in-depth study of the types, quantities, distribution and transmission mechanisms of ARGs to reveal their diversity and assess the potential risks of these ARGs to the environment and public health. This study will provide a scientific basis for rational use of antibiotics in aquaculture, reducing the production and spread of ARGs, and also provide an important reference for the formulation of effective environmental risk prevention and control strategies.
