16S and 23S ribosomal RNA gene fragments sequenced by a MinION nanopore system were used to obtain sub-species resolution of datasets from a D6322 mock bacterial microbiome. Correct strain resolution usually resulted over a 3 order of magnitude variation in species proportions.

本研究采用MinION纳米孔测序系统（MinION nanopore system）对16S与23S核糖体RNA基因片段（16S and 23S ribosomal RNA gene fragments）进行测序，以获取D6322模拟细菌微生物组数据集的亚种分辨率。准确的菌株分辨率通常可使物种比例产生三个数量级以上的差异。
