The interviews in Belgium, England, the Netherlands, Scotland and Venezuela with members of occupationally mobile communities, with the teachers working with children, and with policy-makers and researchers working in the field of Traveller education.

The collection represents the researcher's archive of a large number of semi-structured, audiotaped, qualitative interviews with various groups of research participants in the researcher's period of sabbatical leave awarded by the then Faculty of Education at Central Queensland University, Australia. The interviews were conducted with members of occupationally mobile communities, with the teachers working with their children, and with policy-makers and researchers working in this field of Traveller education. Participant groups included barge people/bargees, circus people, fairground or show people, policy-makers, teachers and teacher educators. Interviews were conducted in Belgium, England, the Netherlands, Scotland and Venezuela.
