Pseudomonas aeruginosa PAO1 biofilm kinetics RNAseq

We have sequenced Pseudomonas aeruginosa cells associated to the early biofilm stage at 4h and at the beginning of their dispersal at 8h as well as in their planktonic state (2h). Additionally, to explore whether natural dispersal transcriptomic profiles match that of NO or CTEMPO-treated cells, we also collected biofilm cells at 4h after treatment for 15 or 30 minutes. With this study we aim at identifying a fingerprint of state-dependent genes to streamline the testing of biofil-dispersing drugs.
