The data contains the summary statistics of all tested TR-gene pairs in African and European samples. The association test was performed separately in each population. To identify eGenes, we first grouped TR-gene pairs by gene and performed a Bonferroni correction to correct for the multiple tests. Then, choosing the TR-gene pairs with the lowest p-value performed an FDR correction for each gene. Summary statistics were merged together using the outer join method to generate the table.

本数据集涵盖非洲与欧洲人群样本中所有经检测的TR-基因对（TR-gene pairs）的汇总统计量。我们针对每个研究人群分别开展了关联检验。为鉴定eGenes（表达关联基因），我们首先按基因对TR-基因对进行分组，并针对多重检验实施邦费罗尼校正（Bonferroni correction）；随后，针对每个基因选取p值最低的TR-基因对，开展错误发现率（False Discovery Rate, FDR）校正。最终通过外连接（outer join）方法合并上述汇总统计量，生成本数据集的表格。
