Voting Districts

The City of Whittier is divided up into 4 geographically defined districts that was first approved by voters in June 2014, then again in April 2023. The districts were recently updated to include the areas as part of the City of Whittier Annexation No. 2021-09 that was approved by the Local Agency Formation Commission (LAFCO) on November 13, 2024. The City Council approved new district boundaries for the recenlty incorporated parcels on March 25, 2025 and Ordinance No 3164 was approved and adopted on May 13, 2025.
