This dataset documents township-level statistical entries concerning the constant-price animal husbandry output value derived from the 2001 socio-economic statistics of Fengning County, a demonstration county for the Beijing-Tianjin Sandstorm Source Control Project. The included entries are: township code, township name, total animal husbandry output value, total livestock inventory, subtotal of large livestock reproduction, growth and weight gain, cattle, horses, donkeys, mules, pigs, sheep, feeder cattle, total poultry farming, chickens, ducks, total live livestock and poultry products, with breakdowns including eggs, milk, wool, cashmere, hunting, and other animal farming, etc.

In addition, the dataset also contains comprehensive 2001 socio-economic statistical data for all townships in Fengning County, with specific contents as follows: area distribution of land use types in each township, fiscal and financial conditions, gross national product (GNP), total industrial and agricultural output value, population structure and employment status of Fengning County, climatic data of Fengning County, animal husbandry production status in each township, number of livestock enclosures in each township, grassland grade statistics of Fengning County, and land desertification status of Fengning County, among others.
