Collection of 153 archaeal metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) recovered from metagenomes available from the Sequence Read Archive. These MAGs comprise part of the data set used in the genome taxonomy database (GTDB) to define a standardised archaeal taxonomy via a concatenated protein phylogeny that conservatively removes polyphyletic groups and normalises ranks based on relative evolutionary divergence.
