Application acceptance is processed through the integrated platform, while the process data is transmitted back to the integrated platform via the Dongguan Municipal Planning Management Business Full-process Online Service System - Paperless Business Approval and Planning One-Map System.
Individuals or entities that meet all of the following criteria may submit an application: 1. Comply with the Overall Plan for Island Protection and Utilization of Guangdong Province; 2. Obtain examination opinions issued by the oceanic administrative departments at the municipal, county and district levels; 3. Submit the specific plan for the development and utilization of uninhabited islands and the demonstration report for uninhabited island use projects; 4. The provincial oceanic administrative department organizes relevant experts to review the aforementioned specific plan and demonstration report.
The Dongguan Municipal Bureau of Natural Resources handles the approval and examination for the development and utilization of uninhabited islands in accordance with relevant documents issued by the competent national authorities and in compliance with the law.
