Differential Expression of LncRNAs after cisplatin treatment in tongue squamous carcinoma cells

chemoresistance frequently leads to therapeutic failure in oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC). Recently, studies have reported that lncRNAs play active roles in regulation biological properties of cancer. To understand whether lncRNAs involve in regulating cisplatin sensitivity in TSCC, in this study, we profiled the expression of lncRNAs in two TSCC cell lines(CAL-27 and SCC-9) under cisplatin treatment paired untreated cell lines by LncRNA Array (ArrayStar V3.0). We investigated the differential expression profiles of lncRNA in tongue squamous carcinoma cells between four groups: the CAL27 control group, the CAL27 treated with cisplatin group (CAL27+ci24h group), the SCC9 control group and the SCC9 treated with cisplatin group (SCC9+ci24h group). Sample labeling and array hybridization were performed by Arraystar Human lncRNA Microarray V3.0 according to the Arraystar microarray-based gene expression analysis protocol (Arraystar, Inc., Rockville, MD, USA). After quantile normalization of the raw data, the lncRNAs detected were chosen for further data analysis. Differentially expressed lncRNAs with statistical significance between the two groups were identified through P value/FDR filtering.
