This project proposes an algorithm that utilizes data from the Next Generation Liquefaction Database to create geospatial meshes of ground motion intensity, and to determine intensities at sites where earthquake-induced liquefaction has been observed. This project applies a combined modeling and data-driven approach to determine residuals or model deviance from true recorded intensity measure values at recording stations. Going forward, this project serves to provide the geotechnical engineering community with a new technique for more consistent ground motion estimations at liquefaction sites.

本项目提出一种算法,依托下一代液化数据库(Next Generation Liquefaction Database)的数据生成地震动强度的地理空间网格,并确定已观测到地震诱发液化场地的地震动强度值。本项目采用建模与数据驱动相结合的方法,计算台站处真实记录的强度度量值对应的残差与模型偏差。本项目旨在为岩土工程学界提供一项新技术,以实现液化场地地震动强度的更一致可靠估算。
