Distance - Based Bird Identification

The woodlot and grassland areas near the danby woodlot region of York University were each sampled with 5 transects, for a total of 10 transects in order to identify bird species and their frequency. Each transect had a distance of 25 meters and while sampling for bird species, the rough distance to each bird, and the wind speed in the area was recorded in addition to the bird species seen and their frequency. During some of the transect repetitions, no birds were seen and therefore some transects reflect this phoenomenon with the caption "No Data".
