Putative plant protein gene family defined by conserved motif, HMM profile, and phylogenetic clustering across Brassicaceae
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the evidence supporting the definition of a previously uncharacterized plant protein family identified through iterative sequence analysis. The project combined homology searching, multiple sequence alignment, conserved-region analysis, profile HMM construction, motif discovery with MEME, and phylogenetic inference with IQ-TREE. Together, these analyses support a coherent family structure with strong conservation across Brassicaceae homologs and detectable extension into additional eudicot lineages. The archive includes the sequence sets used in the study, curated alignments of the full-length proteins and conserved core region, the final phylogenetic trees, the HMM profile used to characterize the family, MEME motif outputs, and search/annotation outputs used to assess family boundaries and conserved features. The conserved motif architecture and domain-level similarity provide independent support for the family model presented here. This deposit is intended for community use, reproducibility, and future functional or taxonomic curation of this plant protein family.
