High-quality permafrost maps are fundamental data for research on environmental effects of permafrost and engineering applications in cold regions. This dataset is developed based on systematically compiled annual mean ground temperature measurement data at the annual active layer thickness for 237 borehole locations across the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau from 2005 to 2015.
