This dataset collects invention patent data related to antimicrobial peptides from patent databases. It is used to understand the current value status of invention patents in this field, the differences in technological innovation capabilities and innovation levels among enterprises, as well as the technological development trends of the antimicrobial peptide industry, so as to serve customers in this domain.
a. Patent validity score: the number of years from the data download date (December 15, 2023, today) to the patent's estimated expiration date, with 1 point awarded per year;
b. Inventor count score: 1 point per inventor;
c. Patent agency status score: 5 points if a patent agency is involved, 0 points otherwise;
d. Citation count score: +10 points for each citation received;
e. Family patent count: +1 point for each additional family patent with 1 as the baseline;
f. Claim count score: taking 10 claims as the baseline, -1 point for each fewer claim and +1 point for each additional claim;
g. Transfer count score: +5 points for each transfer;
The total score of a single patent is the sum of a, b, c, d, e, f and g.
