Appendix S1 contains two tables and six supplementary figures with additional explorations of the data. Appendix S2 contains the raw data referring to the species/families registered in the three groups of transects and spatial grids, in addition to all abiotic data. Appendix S3 contains the software codes and spreadsheets necessary for results replication.
