Blueberry was known as “the king of small berries” for rich in nutrition and antioxidant substances such as anthocyanin. In order to explore the molecular mechanism of blueberry development and growth, and to develop the SSR marker for molecular breeding and molecular genetics, the leaf transcriptome of 2 year old blueberry variety “Ruilan” was sequenced by the second generation sequencing technology.
