Postcards from Herbert Ernest Wilson (4)

These postcards were sent by my grandfather to his wife Martha Emily Wilson (known as Pat). She lived in Hull at 38 Brecon Street.

Editor's Comment:
First postcard a tinted photograph of a woman with flowers, written 4th March 1918; second a tinted painting of a shepherd and girl with basket, captioned 'La Retour'.

51702 Herbert Wilson served in 19 Squadron, Royal Flying Corps.

这批明信片均由我的祖父寄给其妻子玛莎·艾米莉·威尔逊（Martha Emily Wilson，昵称Pat）。其妻子当时居住在赫尔（Hull）的布雷肯街38号。

第一张明信片为一幅女性与花卉主题的手工上色照片，书写日期为1918年3月4日；第二张为描绘牧羊人与携篮女孩的着色画作，标注标题为‘La Retour’。
