New billfish fossils (Percomorpha: Xiphioidei) from Fossil Point, South Island, New Zealand, and a review of the marine vertebrate fauna from the Oligocene Abel Head Formation - Dataset

Dataset includes excel spreadsheets detailing palaeontological occurrence information on key taxa discussed in the literature review portion of the thesis. There are two spreadsheets for each taxa, one for Australian occurrences, another for New Zealand occurrences. Dataset also includes .tif files, containing the synchrotron scanned images of the small and the large fossil specimen blocks discussed in the main portion of the thesis. These images were used in the creation of all of the 3D model figures.
