In this study we sequenced metatranscriptomes of Pseudo-nitzschia galaxiae diatoms exposed to their lytic virus PnGalRNAV, along with the resident bacterial communities and their 16S amplicons. There was an initial sample prior to the experiment. The experiment involved separating the initial culture into 3 by 3 flasks. Three were treated with the virus and three were left untempered. We sampled all flasks five and nine days after the experiment start.
