Wetland_Reserve_Programme_(WRP)_Inundation_Analysis_GIS_Project
收藏资源简介:
This dataset presents a seasonal and annual hotspot analysis of inundation frequency within the Protected Areas Database of the United States (PAD-US) Wetlands Reserve Program (WRP) lands from 2018 to 2024. The package uses remote sensing images and GIS spatial analysis to measure hydrological patterns over four different seasons. It focuses on WRP parcels that have a mean inundation frequency of 25% or more. The included raster and vector data provide a high-resolution look at the hydroperiod of conservation easements across the contiguous United States and Alaska, serving as a critical resource for evaluating the effectiveness of wetland restoration efforts, wildlife habitat suitability, and regional flood attenuation. Researchers can utilize these files to analyze temporal shifts in surface water presence and to support data-driven land management and conservation policy decisions.
