We analyzed the transcriptome of Wild-type (WT) and salvianolate-treated Zebrafish by bulk RNA-seq Overall design: To investigate the underlying mechanism by which salvianolate inhibits cardiotoxicity, we performed a comparative RNA-seq analysis of salvianolate-treated zebrafish embryos. Compared with the control group, RNA-seq analysis found that the salvianolate group had significant changes in the transcription, of which 109 genes were up-regulated and 565 genes were down-regulated. Interestingly, GO and KEGG pathway analysis showed that membrane part and lysosomal pathway was enriched in our study.
