This data set represents the odour preference ratios of four experimental groups (namely Group 1: \"Female (Treated/Treated+Untreated)\"; Group 2: \"Female (Treated/Treated+Blank)\"; Group 3: \"Male (Treated/Treated+Untreated)\"; Group 4: \"Male (Treated/Treated+Blank)\"). Each of these four groups contains odour preference data from 10 mice at both Day 1 and Day 7 and that mouses odour preference to the three conditions (0 ug/kg; 1 ug/kg; 25 ug/kg).  , , # Differential avoidance of the odour of opposite sex mice receiving acute and repeated Lipopolysaccharide Dataset DOI: [10.5061/dryad.1jwstqk62](10.5061/dryad.1jwstqk62) ## Description of the data and file structure Here we considered the responses of both male and female mice to the odours of opposite sex individuals acutely (Day 1) and repeatedly (Day 7) treated with very low and low doses of LPS (1.0 and 25 μg/kg, respectively).  Odour preference ratio for an LPS treated male or female was calculated by dividing time spent in proximity of the LPS odour by the total time spent in proximity of both odours (i.e., [LPS treated (Day 1)]/[LPS treated (Day 1) + Untreated (Day 1)].
