The aim of this study was to identify methicillin-resistant staphylococci (MRS) in bovine milk samples and assess their genetic and antimicrobial resistance profiles. From 402 samples, 134 Staphylococcus isolates were identified, with significant resistance to penicillin G and cefoxitin, and the mecA gene confirmed in MRS. Whole genome sequencing revealed diverse AMR and virulence genes, highlighting the need for improved dairy farming practices.
