South African Land Cover 2018 Class N Mines Resampled to a 1km Grid

Raster-based land cover dataset representing the full South African landscape for the full year 2018. Derived from 20m Sentinel 2 imagery acquired between 01 January 2018 and 31 December 2018. Land cover information classes based on new Gazetted land cover standards and legend content used in 2013-14 national land cover data. All land cover and land-use classes generated using automated modelling procedures for full operational repeatability and change detection. Class 68–72 of the 2018 South African National land cover dataset was clustered to derive South African land cover 2018 Class N Mines for the current product and resampled to a 1000 x 1000m grid resolution Albers Equal Area map projection +proj=aea +lat_1=-22 +lat_2=-38 +lat_0=-30 +lon_0=25 +x_0=1400000 +y_0=1300000 +datum=WGS84 +units=m +no_defs

本数据集为基于栅格的土地覆盖数据集，覆盖2018年全年南非全境地表景观。其数据源自2018年1月1日至2018年12月31日期间获取的20米分辨率哨兵2号（Sentinel 2）遥感影像。土地覆盖信息分类体系基于2013-2014年全国土地覆盖数据所采用的官方公布新版土地覆盖标准及图例内容。所有土地覆盖与土地利用分类均通过自动化建模流程生成，以保障全流程可复现性与变化检测能力。本产品将2018年南非全国土地覆盖数据集中的68至72类进行聚类，得到本次数据集的南非2018年土地覆盖N类「矿业用地」，并重采样至1000×1000米网格分辨率，采用阿尔伯斯等面积地图投影（Albers Equal Area Map Projection），投影参数为：+proj=aea +lat_1=-22 +lat_2=-38 +lat_0=-30 +lon_0=25 +x_0=1400000 +y_0=1300000 +datum=WGS84 +units=m +no_defs。
