Spring 2020 Manhole Infrastructure Dataset for Cape Cod

Overview This Feature Service provides detailed geospatial data on manhole features within the Cape Cod region, compiled from high-resolution aerial imagery captured in spring 2025. Data Acquisition and Quality The data was acquired by NV5, under funding from the Cape Cod Commission, based on 4-band aerial imagery (true color and near infrared) taken between February and April 2025. The imagery was collected under optimal conditions to ensure positional accuracy within 0.38 meters (95% confidence), suitable for detailed planimetric mapping at a 1:40 scale. Acquisition was carefully timed during leaf-off, snow-free conditions, avoiding atmospheric and ground moisture issues for clarity. Geographic Coverage The dataset specifically covers the Cape Cod region, providing localized utility infrastructure information.
