资源简介:
Research hypothesis:
Tinnitus progression involves distinct stages: an acute phase of salience-executive imbalance with aberrant high-frequency synchrony, and a chronic phase of compensatory rebalancing via low-frequency oscillatory adaptation, providing a dynamic framework for identifying stage-specific biomarkers.
Data Description:
This dataset contains neurophysiological and demographic information from three participant groups: Acute Tinnitus (AT), Chronic Tinnitus (CT), and Healthy Controls (HC), with 15 participants in each group. Data are organized into three sheets:
1. Sheet: Microstate:
Global Explained Variance: Proportion of total EEG variance explained by the four microstates
Microstate Duration (ms): Mean duration of each microstate (A, B, C, D)
Microstate Coverage: Fraction of total time covered by each microstate
Microstate Occurrence: Frequency of occurrence per second for each microstate
Transition Probabilities: Probabilities of transitions between microstates (e.g., A→B, A→C, etc.).
2. Sheet: Global Efficiency
Frequency Bands: δ (delta), θ (theta), αlow (low alpha), αhigh (high alpha), β (beta), γ (gamma)
Global Efficiency (SFN): Whole-brain global efficiency for each frequency band
Microstate-specific Global Efficiency: Global efficiency values associated with each microstate (A, B, C, D) in each frequency band.
3. Sheet: Demographics Characteristics
This sheet provides demographic and clinical information for all participants: Age in years, Duration of tinnitus in months (blank for HC), Side of tinnitus (Left, Right, Bilateral), Visual Analog Scale for tinnitus loudness (0–10), Tinnitus Handicap Inventory total score, THI subscales (Emotional, Functional, Catastrophic), Hearing thresholds at 250–8000 Hz for both ears,Pure Tone Average for right, left, and bilateral ears.
