The inflammatory response contributed to tumor growth and was recognized as the hallmark of cancer, while autoimmune gastritis is a specific type of chronic inflammatory gastritis caused by autoimmune mechanisms associated with the development of gastric cancer.In this study, we identified two inflammatory subtypes of gastric cancer (GC)through comprehensive multi-omics sequencing analyses of autoimmune gastritis and GC patients. Both subtypes wereassociated with survival and clinicopathologicalcharacteristics in patients. Following screening, 16 genes were identified that constitute a prognostic signature with significant predictive value for patient prognosis and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) response. In summary,the autoimmune gastritis-derived signature provides a novel strategy for precision immunotherapyin gastric cancer.
