Annual reports provide an overview of the work of an agency during the reporting year. Most reporting years are for the financial year ending 30 June, though earlier twentieth century reports may have been for the calendar year ending 31 December.

年度报告可全面概述某一机构在报告年度内的各项工作。多数报告年度均对应以6月30日为截止日的财政年度（financial year），但20世纪早期的部分报告可能采用以12月31日为截止日的日历年度（calendar year）作为报告周期。
