Dataset on the spatial-temporal distribution of organic pollutant concentrations in rivers of the Zhejiang-Fujian region from 2002 to 2015. The covered pollutants include benzene series, organochlorine pesticides, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, polychlorinated biphenyls, antibiotics, pharmaceuticals and personal care products, estrogens, endocrine disrupting chemicals, phthalate esters, and perfluorinated compounds. This dataset includes the following data items: first-level basin name, second-level basin name, surface water body name, sampling region, sampling location, sampling point name, sampling point coordinates (longitude, latitude), sampling time, sampling hydrological period (high flow season, normal flow season, low flow season), sampling item (water), water sampling layer and unit, sampling information notes (pH, dissolved oxygen, TOC), pollutant CAS registry number, pollutant category, subcategory, pollutant name, concentration values (maximum, minimum, average, median) and unit, standard deviation, pretreatment method, analytical method, main instrument name, detection limit, quality control, analysis information notes (instrument conditions), data source (authors, paper title, journal name, publication year, volume, issue, page numbers), data compilation time, data compilation institution, data sharing or usage restrictions, compilation personnel, review personnel, and other related data. The dataset contains a total of 7587 records and is fully open for sharing.
