Die Sonderstellung der Psychotherapiewissenschaft als selbstständiger Disziplin im Spannungsfeld zwischen nomothetischem und idiografischem Wissenschaftsverständnis wird plausibel gemacht. Dazu werden zunächst das herkömmliche mechanistische Wissenschaftsverständnis und seine Berechtigung skizziert, das, fussend auf systematischer Beobachtung und Experiment, vornehmlich durch die Kausalbeziehung von Ursache und Wirkung charakterisiert ist und geprägt wird durch das Streben nach Realismus, Objektivismus, Naturalismus und Universalismus. Demgegenüber legt das idiografische Wissenschaftsverständnis den Fokus auf den Einzelfall und seine Besonderheit, fragt aber gleichzeitig auch nach der Möglichkeit der Verallgemeinerbarkeit. Es ist charakterisiert durch Relativismus, Subjektivismus/Transaktionalismus, Konstruktivismus, aber auch Perspektivismus, der, obgleich eine vermittelnde Position beziehend, im wissenschaftlichen Diskurs nur eine untergeordnete Rolle spielt. Neben der Wirkursache finden dabei Zielursache, Ganzheit und analogischer Rationalitätstypus Anwendung. Nomothetisches und idiografisches Wissenschaftsverständnis sehen die Autoren als gleichermassen legitim an und plädieren daher für einen dialogischen Pluralismus. We provide arguments for the special position of psychotherapy as an independent discipline lying between the nomothetic and idiographic understanding of science. First we outline the standard mechanistic view of science and its justification, which is mainly characterized by the causal relationship of cause and effect, founded on systematic observation and experiment, and defined by striving for realism, objectivism, naturalism, and universalism. This is contrasted by the idiographic view of science which focuses on the individual case and its special nature, but at the same time asks about the possibility of generalization. It is characterized by relativism, subjectivism/transactionalism, constructivism, but also perspectivism, which only plays a subordinate role in scientific discourse, even though it takes up a mediating position. In addition to effective causes, this view also applies final causes, holism, and analogous rationality types. We view the nomothetic and idiographic understanding of science as equally legitimate and thus plead for a dialogical pluralism. La posizione particolare della scienza psicoterapeutica come disciplina indipendente al crocevia tra concezione nomotetica e idiografica della scienza si rende plausibile. A tal fine, vengono prima delineate la concezione meccanicistica convenzionale della scienza e la sua giustificazione, che, basata sull’osservazione sistematica e sull’esperimento, è principalmente contraddistinta dalla relazione causale tra causa ed effetto ed è caratterizzata dalla lotta per il realismo, l’oggettivismo, il naturalismo e l’universalismo. Al contrario, la concezione idiografica della scienza si concentra sul singolo caso e sulle sue peculiarità, ma allo stesso tempo interroga sulla possibilità di generalizzabilità. È caratterizzata da relativismo, soggettivismo/transazionalismo, costruttivismo, ma anche prospettivismo che, pur assumendo una posizione mediatrice, svolge solo un ruolo subordinato nel discorso scientifico. Oltre alla causa dell’azione, vengono utilizzati la causa finale, la totalità e un analogo tipo di razionalità. Gli autori considerano la concezione nomotetica e idiografica della scienza come ugualmente legittima e quindi sostengono il pluralismo dialogico. unknown publishedVersion
