Spatial Analysis
收藏资源简介:
Almost every issue that the city faces involves spatial data. From dispatching Fire and Rescue to an emergency, tracking street condition or addressing gender inequity spatial data informs our discussions and guides guides resources to where they are most needed. Spatial data and GIS technology are vital tools for our community. The Department of Housing and Urban Development has produced a list of qualified census tracts in which 50% or more of the households are income eligible and the population of all census tracts that satisfy this criterion does not exceed 20% of the total population of the respective area. These tracts are qualified for to receive funds under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The City of Dallas's Office of Community Cares requested an application that would allow their staff to quickly identify the Qualified Census Tracts within Dallas. The application allows city staff to compare the qualifing census tracts and how they have changed throughout the years.
