This study presents the development and internal validation of a weighted risk scoring system to predict the need for peripartum blood transfusion in obstetric patients. Using routinely available pre-delivery clinical and laboratory parameters, including placenta previa, emergency delivery, coagulopathy, hemoglobin, platelet count, and prothrombin time, the model demonstrated excellent discrimination (AUC = 0.838) and stable performance after bootstrap validation. The proposed score provides a practical, data-driven tool for early identification of high-risk patients and supports more efficient hemorrhage management in obstetric practice.
