Empirical Attractor Structure in Wind–PGF State Space (ERA5, Jan–Mar 2026, Hourly)

This dataset documents an empirical analysis of the relationship between wind magnitude and pressure gradient force (PGF) using ERA5 hourly data (Jan–Mar 2026). By mapping the system into a state space defined by log-transformed wind and PGF, a structured imbalance landscape is identified. The system exhibits a coherent flow toward a low-imbalance region, supported by a convergence pattern in the divergence field. A dominant attractor-like basin is detected near (log10(W), log10(PGF)) ≈ (0.008, -3.674), corresponding to W ≈ 1.02 and PGF ≈ 2.12 × 10⁻⁴. All results are obtained through direct data aggregation without imposing a physical model.
