Genome-wide identification and characterization of long non-coding RNAs in maize under rice black streaked dwarf virus infection

Plant genome produced long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are essential regulators of plant immune system. However, the functions of lncRNA in maize response to rice black streaked dwarf virus (RBSDV) infection is poorly understood. To well understand the expression profile of lncRNAs in disease resistance, the comprehensive disease-responding lncRNA profile in maize infected with RBSDV was investigated.
