Based on the sales data of cat treats, this study identifies the dominant product packages in the local market by analyzing the sales proportions of key parameters including different main ingredients and applicable pet breeds. It provides solid data support for manufacturers and brands to optimize their product lines, focus on marketing priorities, and allocate resources rationally. Meanwhile, it also offers clear market insights for distributors, retailers and supply chain partners, enabling them to accurately grasp consumer demands and formulate more efficient inventory management and promotion strategies. 1. Data Collection: Collect sales order information of cat treat products, which specifically includes: statistical time, product name, sales region, purchase quantity (unit) and flavor. 2. Data Preprocessing: Clean the collected data to eliminate duplicate or missing data records. 3. Calculate Total Sales Volume: Take the year of the statistical time as the target year, use the SUM function to accumulate the purchase quantities of all historical data across the 12 months of that year, and calculate the total sales volume of cat treats. 4. Identify Dominant Models Based on Flavor: (1) Filter orders corresponding to specific model names, use the SUM function to accumulate the purchase quantities to calculate the total sales volume of each model, and calculate its sales proportion as (total sales volume of the model / total sales volume of all cat treats) * 100%. Similarly, calculate the total sales volume and sales proportion of other model names. (2) Compare the sales proportions of different model names, and the one with a higher proportion is regarded as the flavor-based dominant model.
