This dataset is derived from a research study investigating the molecular regulation and environmental stress response mechanisms of secondary forest growth. The core content of this dataset involves gene mining and molecular marker screening in shrub willows. Short-rotation willows are important renewable bioenergy feedstocks. In this work, high-throughput transcriptome sequencing and molecular marker sequence discovery were performed on a particular shrub willow species. The newly developed marker resources possess significant value for willow genetic improvement and marker-assisted breeding.
