From June 6 to 29, 2008, measurements were conducted in the Linze Grassland Intensive Observation Area. A handheld quantum irradiometer was used to collect data on canopy-incident radiation, canopy-reflected radiation, surface-incident radiation and surface-reflected radiation of ground features including reed, saline-alkali grass, alfalfa, cumin and barley in Plot A (reed field), Plot B (saline-alkali land), Plot D (alfalfa field) and Plot E (barley field). Additionally, diurnal variations of PAR and Fpar for different surface types were derived.
