水下文化資產現地保存監測基礎資料建置(110-113年)

水下文化資產發掘出水及後續保存耗費相當大的資源與成本，考量未來調查、發掘或保存技術對於水下文化資產可能有較佳科學發展，並為後世保存該水下文化資產標的原貌及其所蘊含之重要資訊，我國《水下文化資產保存法》循《水下文化資產保護公約》之精神，於第27條第1項規定，水下文化資產應以現地保存為原則。

Excavation, recovery and subsequent preservation of underwater cultural heritage entail substantial resources and costs. Given that future investigation, excavation and preservation technologies may facilitate more advanced scientific development for underwater cultural heritage, and to preserve the original appearance and important information embodied in such heritage for future generations, China's Underwater Cultural Heritage Conservation Act, following the spirit of the Convention on the Protection of Underwater Cultural Heritage, stipulates in Article 27, Paragraph 1 that underwater cultural heritage shall follow the principle of in-situ conservation.
