The dataset of the Raman scattering spectra of Ryugu pyrrhotites contains the spectroscopic data on pyrrhotite grains found on intact particles extracted from their assemblage in the A0107 aggregates directly sampled from asteroid 162173 Ryugu at the first touchdown in the Hayabusa2 mission (JAXA) and related reference data. The dataset is composed of three files: (1) Thermal damage tests by laser irradiation, (2) Comparisons of the Raman spectra of Ryugu pyrrhotites, and (3) Particles after likely-dissolved Ryugu pyrrhotites. These data files are provided as Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) format. The Raman scattering spectra of Ryugu pyrrhotites were measured with a LabRAM HR Evolution equipped with a Synapse EMCCD detector (HORIBA Co., Ltd., Kyoto, Japan). The Raman spectra of reference terrestrial pyrrhotites were measured with a laser Raman microscope (Raman-11i, Nanophoton Co., Ltd.) operated at Tokyo University of Science (Tokyo, Japan).
