The School-Norway Survey 2022 Autumn, Primary file

NIFU has conducted semi-annual surveys among schools and school owners on behalf of the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training since 2009. The surveys are known as Questions to School Norway. This survey is the twenty-ninth in the series and has four target groups: school leaders at primary and upper secondary schools, and municipalities and county authorities as school owners. Each survey round is documented in a separate report titled Questions to School Norway. The autumn 2022 survey was carried out in the period from 15 September to 23 October. The number of topics included in the surveys varies from round to round, and some topics are repeated at regular intervals. A total of 12 topics were included in the autumn survey. Since 2009, the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training has had a system for coordinating surveys on various conditions in the education sector through framework agreements. TFoU (now SINTEF) has conducted the surveys in the kindergarten sector since they were introduced in 2014. In the most recent period, NIFU has held overall responsibility for both, while SINTEF continues to conduct the surveys in the kindergarten sector. The surveys are carried out twice a year for the education sector and once a year for the kindergarten sector. The main purpose is to systematize surveys related to the knowledge needs of the Norwegian Directorate for Education and Training and the Ministry of Education and Research concerning the situation in the school and kindergarten sectors, in their follow-up of key policy priorities, and as a basis for decision-making and prioritization. The School-Norway Survey 2022 Autumn consists of two files. This file is the Primary File and contains among other things, school names, organisation numbers, municipality names and municipality numbers, as well as open-ended responses that may contain personal data.
