Levee

Not an exhaustive representation of levees within the SJRWMD. UPDATE NOTES: In 2024.04, geometry and field attribute, domain schema changes and additions were completed by OIT-GIS team per Operations & Maintenance staff, who are the account content owner. The geometry request was to merge levee segments per each levee name. In 2017, this database was updated to include 3 levee segments that have been downloaded from the 2012 NLD (National Levees Database):L-212 (5.42 miles): This portion divides the Ocklawaha River from Ocklawaha Prairie Restoration Area. Has been turned over to SJRWMD for maintenance. Ocklawaha River Basin C231 (7.23 miles): This portion divides the Ocklawaha River from the Sunnyhill Restoration Area. Has been turned over to SJRWMD for maintenance. L-78: This is the tail end of a federal levee in USJRB.
