This dataset comprises the age-grouped statistics of timber forest area and volume from the 2012 second-class forest inventory of Chongqing Municipality. The recorded and counted items include the name of the statistical unit, statistical unit code, right to use forest trees, sub-forest category code, total area, total volume, area of age classes Ⅰ to Ⅷ, and volume of age classes Ⅰ to Ⅷ, etc. This dataset provides data support and services for the age-grouped statistics of timber forest area and volume in Chongqing Municipality.
