This CD presents nonstop operations (segments) as reported by U.S. air carriers. These data are releasable after a 3 year confidentiality period and include U.S. Air Carrier foreign point to foreign point traffic. These data fields contain information by aircraft type and service class for departures performed, available capacity and seats, passengers transported, freight and mail transported, scheduled departures, and aircraft hours ramp-to-ramp and airborne. This CD presents 12 months of data. This is a new file that includes a new field, Carrier World Area Code (WAC), at the end of each record. This field indicates a carrier's world area. This is useful for grouping foreign carriers (Carrier WAC > 100) from U.S. Carriers (Carrier WAC < 100). Data are restricted and made available to the public after three years. Data are available since 1990.
