Coupled oxygenation, manganese carbonate mineralization, and Mo cycling during the Neoproterozoic ocean

We studied iron speciation, molybdenum and nitrogen isotopes from black shales and associated manganese carbonates in the upper Ediacaran Doushantuo Formation, South China, to elucidate the coupled relationship between oceanic oxygenation, manganese mineralization, and molybdenum geochemical cycling.
